Funny how life is: You know it is more politically correct to fart or burp in public than it is to sneeze or cough.
It has become my mother’s nightmare!
If people sneeze or cough in public, you can just see everyone’s reaction – but if you fart – no one even notices anymore…
It’s the same with being sick.
No one wants to be sick anymore – lots of time previously people would have called in sick to work just to have a day to themselves – to rest or relax or take a moment. Now that doesn’t happen anymore – if you call in sick then you need to do a rapid test to see if you are Covid positive and then possibly end up off work for 2 weeks.
If you are sick, then absolutely take the day off and do the necessary tests for everyone’s protection…
